Standards Adoption Workshop – SS 610:2016 Guidelines for Cleaning Performance of F&B premises

The Standards Adoption Workshop on Upgrade your F&B premises using SS 610: 2016 (Guidelines for Cleaning Performance of Retail Food and Beverage (F&B) premises) was organised on 18 May 2017 by Food Standards Committee (FSC).

The Standards Adoption Workshop on Upgrade your F&B premises using SS 610: 2016 (Guidelines for Cleaning Performance of Retail Food and Beverage (F&B) premises) was organised on 18 May 2017 by Food Standards Committee (FSC). This Singapore Standard was endorsed by the Food Standards Committee (FSC) on 16 February 2016. The standard was developed to create a common understanding between service buyers and providers in establishing cleaning specifications and also be used as a guide for management of F&B establishments to assess the performance of their own in-house cleaning staff.

This workshop introduced and educated the participants on the benefits of using SS 610: 2016. Participants understand on how SS 610: 2016 could compliment and improve their existing food safety management system and also gained insight on a practical guide on effective pest management programme.
